10 to 10.15 Introduction. Discussion. Your interests and objectives. Your learning style

10.15 to 11.00 Challenge 1: Portraits in pairs

11.00 to 11.15 Discussion

11.15 to 12.00 Challenge 2: Tasks.

12.00 to 1.00 Lunch. One-to one with tutor: kit inspection

1-00 to 2.30 Challenge 3: You Project – in town

2.30 to 3.00 Break: one-to one with tutor technical questions.

3.00 to 4.00 Project Review Voting on Challenge Winner. Feedback


Challenge 1: Portraits in pairs

Make four portraits of each other: landscape and portrait

1: Looking at camera.
2: Not looking at camera.
3: Work or hobby (real or imagined) - with some prop
4: An idea of your own.


Challenge 2: Tasks

Photographing items that challenge your photographic skill. Take your interest with the following features
Carry out the following tasks

1. Bright white object

2. Bright single coloured object

3. Collection of white objects

4. Collection of coloured objects

5. Images that 'say' emotions: such as freedom, joy, sorrow, hate, concentration, idleness or your own feelings.


Challenge 3: A photo story – in town

Choose from:

1. Journey through town
2. History Town
3. Dirty Old Town
4. Bright Alive Town
or
5. Make a theme of your own

Give your photo story a title.
Explore the theme in your mind before shooting.

Be prepared to edit down to 12 images.
